| WOW!!! I mean really WOW! I have not updated this blog in almost 3 years! that's insane....
I guess I better start off with summarizing the last few years. College was great! I made alot of friends and finished a degree that is actually useful. I graduated from UCI in June, 2005 with a BS in Electical Engineering and now I am working at Parker Hannifin now in their Aerospace division. officially I guess I am supposed to be a flight controls design engineer but I am mostly still trying to learn stuff (like what a rudder does and what a flaperon is...lol). I am still in contact with many good friends from UCI and we try to make it a point to see eachother at least once a month. It's sad when people lose touch after spending so much time together (and suffering through engineering hehe) for 4 years !
Brian and I are still a happy couple and OMG our 4 year anniversary is coming up in March! Yikes! it kinda freaks me out cause I am all growd up now and I am doing all these adult things! I am not a student any more and I cannot use that as an excuse to be stupid and irresponsible! kinda scary, huh?? well, that's only half true cause I still live at home with my family so I guess I am not entirely gowd up. hehe
it's really nice not having to pay rent (although just recently I have been asked to contribute $200 per month, bummer). but yeah since I havent had to pay rent since I started working I was able to save up and get myself a SWEET new car!! Yep! that's right! a 2006, Infinity G35 coupe in light-silverish blue! if you have seen it you will agree that it is a sweet a$$ ride! They payments are very steep but like I said I am still mootching off my parents so I can afford it for the time beeing.
The pic below is from a recent Mammoth trip with my coworkers (that's Brian next to me). We have a pretty big group of young people here at Parker, which is great!! we get together for happy hours all the time (and somehow I became the designated "happy hour organizer", dont ask me how!) in fact there is one this Friday!
I guess that's all for now... let's just hope that my next post is not another 3 years later! hahahaha (if u think i'm kidding, i'm not!!!)

| Nothing too excitin in the last few days. Just some quality time at the beach, the mall and with my best friend Jen and of course my sweethear Brian. Oh my gosh how could I forget. I went and saw a THIRD EYE BLIND CONCERT and it was awesome! They were so good! I really wanna buy their new CD now but unfortunatley I'm still broke. Oh well my time of affluence will come... when I graduate with a degree I guess. I will just have to wait till then.
I have put together a list of exciting things to do this summer and hopefully I will be able to cross everything of sometime this summer:
1) Go on a cruise! (this im doing for sure on Jul 30th. I'm so EXCITED!)
2.) Go to Vegas and eat at the Bellagio
3.) Go to Wild Rivers water park. Its fun I used to work there!
4.) Buy a bathing suit!
5.) Party! Party! Party!
6.) Cant say... x-rated
7.) Dye my hair

| ITS FINALLY SUMMER!!!! I've been having a great time this past week. From hanging out with friends, partying in LA, being the Margarita Girls to seeing Finding Nemo with my bf. It's all been fun. But now the reallity of summer school sets in. Today was the first day of lovely chem class (and Lab) and today was also the first day that it was actually sunny outside. I had to sit and listen to the prof talk about moles and dimensional analysis while I was missing out on the first beach day in over a month!! I also signed up for a kickboxing class at the ARC and I'm really looking forward to getting in shape. On a separate note, I will be moving in a couple of weeks so until then I will be spending most of my time packing and cleaning. Yay! | | |
| You asked for it! Now here it is: the long awaited update.. Hehe. Well, schools going ok I guess. Just two more midterms and then finals. Yuck! I get chills just thinking about it. But on a much happier note, I recently found out that I was elected to be the Secretary for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). I'm really excited. They really are a great bunch of girls and I look forward to being a part of the club. It would be great if Jessamyn would sign up too, then we could hang out for other reasons than just lecture and homework. LOL Brian is graduating soon and I'm really happy for him. It is a great accomplishment and he has worked really hard. Speaking of which, I gotta get some pics up of me and him. But untill then I'll enjoy the inspirational picture of the turquoise blue Hawaiian ocean and wish I was there.... | | |
